Although your learners do not need to create an account themselves to access content in Mini Course Generator, learners have a dashboard available where they can see all collections of mini-courses assigned to them at once.
Things to know #
The first time an email address is used to access content in Mini Course Generator as a learner, we create a learner profile based on the email address. This allows us to record progress, ensuring that learners can resume where they left off, without the need for login credentials. This approach provides a smooth experience for learners while giving mini course creators the ability to monitor engagement and progress.
💡Learners’ dashboard is not applicable for collections in which “learners’ access” is set as “everyone can access”.
See the Learner Dashboard #
After your learner has verified their email address, clicking on the profile button opens a dropdown menu. The menu includes learner name, email address, dashboard button on the left and log out button on the right.
Clicking on the dashboard button, the learner is led to their profile page. Here, the learner can see their progress for each mini-course, allowing them to choose between proceeding with incomplete mini courses, starting new mini courses, or going over the mini courses they completed beforehand.
Additionally, learners can see the badges they have earned and visit their badge URL with a simple click on their profile.

The profile page’s domain, as well as your collection and mini-course share links, can be customized.

Learners’ Login Experience #
The image below shows what a new learner sees before they access a collection. Additionally, a learner who had accessed your content but logged out also faces this screen.
As the learner has not logged in yet, the profile section on top right end does not display a name. Clicking on start course or the profile icon leads to your learners’ access gateway option.
