A Guidance Curriculum is a tool that gives students the opportunity to be equipped with essential life skills, learn to be resilient, and optimize their academic performance. For example, by learning conflict resolution and decision-making skills, students may master traversing hurdles associated with, which will in turn, trigger a better state of mind and result in the academics being cracked successfully.
The initiation of the Guidance Curriculum is primarily done by school counselors, teachers, and administrators. They come together to create age-appropriate activities and lessons which are in line with the curriculum's objectives, thus, making sure that every student gets the help they require for their overall growth.
Reinforcing the skills and values that are taught in school at home is a way that Parents are able to support the Guidance Curriculum. They can talk about academic goals with their children, they can also motivate their children to try new things, and they can present the example of good communication and problem-solving strategies by their behavior, so that they will build a positive environment for their children.
